Overview

♣ In this tour you will discover the best highlights of South Morocco (ancient fortified villages, ksar and kasbah, deep gorges dug by rivers in red rock, mountains 3000 meters high, small green valleys, fresh palm groves, pine and cedar forests). And above all you will enjoy the majestic landscape of the Sahara in all its glory : the endless panoramic view during the day, the silent starry night after the desert music around the fire, the magic of colors at dawn and sunset in the dunes . What to expect

Day 1 :

♦ Transfer from the aireport to your Hotel/Riad depending on the flight’s time.

♦ Half day guided tour in Marrakech

Day 2: (start time 8:00 am)

Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Roses valley – Dades Valley

♦ Tizi n Tichka :: Between Marrakech and Ouarzazate, the Tizi N’Tichka road is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful Roads of Morocco, this extraordinary pass With its spectacular landscapes. You will have a stop to see the majestic summit of the Tizi-n-tichka mountain at an altitude of 2260 meters.

♦ Ait Ben Haddou :: Ait Ben Haddou the historical monument of Morocco, registered on the list of world heritage of UNESCO. You will visit this kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou for enough time, the kasbah where it was recorded the most famous movies The Gladiator, Prince of Persia and Game of Thrones.

♦ Roses Valley :: You will see many things you may have seen before, such as taxis, clothing stores, markets, and road hubs. But what if everything you saw previously is shaped by flowers and roses as if you were in a large garden where the inhabitants of the region lived. You will have stops to take photos of the special decoration of the roundabouts there, also it will be nice to see a pink taxi turn around.

Day 3 :

Dades Gorges – Boumalne village – Tinghir City – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga

♦ Tinghir :: after breakfast, you will continue your trip to the city of Tinghir and its regions, a walking tour in Tinghir valleys then the Todra gorges. You will have your lunch in the same village, then you will take your destination to Merzouga.

♦ Merzouga Desert :: Passing through Tinjdad and Erfoud, you will arrive to the dunes of sand of Merzouga, camel ride to watch the sunset, you will have a night in nomad tents in the middle of the desert animated by folk dances and traditional music. Enjoy the panoramic views of the stars over the dunes.

Day 4 :

Merzouga – Ziz valley – Midelt – Cedar forest – Ifarne – Fes

♦ Merzouga Desert :: After an early wake up, we will watch the desert sunrise, then we ride the camels back to Merzouga village, and after we take shower and breakfast we will continue our tour to the city of Fes. We will make some stops while we pass through the High Atlas Mountains. We will stop in the small city of Midelt where we’ll have lunch(town famous because of its minerals)

♦ Fes :: After having lunch, we will drive within fascinating Middle Atlas Mountains till we reach the largest ceder forest of Azrou, where we will have a chance to see a unique Barbarain Apes. Around 30 minutes we will get to Ifrane known as Switzerland of Morocco from here we continue to the city of Fes.

Day 5 :

♦ Half day guided tour in Fes at the morning.

♦ Transfer from your Hotel/Riad to the airport depending on the flight’s time.
